Winning isn't always pure luck
Winbase has two fundamentally different formats: Raffles (classic draws) and Competitions (knowledge contests). Each has different strategies. Knowing the mechanics puts you clearly ahead.
Part 1: Tips for Raffles
How the draw works
In raffles, the winner is determined by a transparent, reproducible random process. The seed used is published after the draw — anyone can verify the result independently. There is no manipulation, no preferred participants.
What this means: Every entry has exactly the same chance of winning. Entering earlier gives no advantage. Creating a second account gets you banned — Winbase detects duplicate accounts.
Tip 1: Complete your entry fully
Many raffles have conditions (e.g. following a channel, leaving a comment). Your entry is only valid once all conditions are fulfilled. Incomplete entries are not counted in the draw.
Go through the checklist in the raffle carefully before confirming your participation.
Tip 2: Stay on top of new raffles
Raffles have end dates. Visiting the platform regularly or enabling push notifications means you'll never miss a new giveaway. Under Discover you'll find all current raffles sorted by popularity and end date.
Push notifications are available for Premium and Creator accounts.
Tip 3: Don't skip Mystery Raffles
In a Mystery Raffle, the prize is only revealed after the raffle ends. This deters some participants — which means less competition. If you trust the Creator, these are often well worth entering.
Tip 4: Share raffles with friends
When a Creator shares a referral link, that doesn't mean you're at a disadvantage. The draw remains fully fair. Sharing raffles with friends makes the platform more attractive for Creators, which leads to better prizes for everyone.
Part 2: Tips for Competitions
How the tiebreaker works
Competitions are knowledge contests. Whoever answers all questions correctly qualifies for the prize. If multiple participants answer correctly, the winner is whoever had the shortest elapsed time between starting the competition and submitting their last correct answer.
Important: the clock starts when you begin the competition — not from a global start time. Participating at midnight gives you the same fair chance as participating at noon.
Tip 5: Don't rush — accuracy beats speed
The tiebreaker is about speed — but only if you get all answers right. A wrong answer disqualifies you from winning, no matter how fast you were.
Strategy: make sure your answer is correct before submitting. For questions you're unsure about, take a moment — one second of thought costs far less than a wrong answer.
Tip 6: Research topics in advance
Many competitions are announced ahead of time and mention the topic. Spending a few minutes reading up beforehand gives you a clear advantage when answering. This is explicitly encouraged — competitions are designed to reward knowledge.
Tip 7: Watch for time limits
Some competitions have a time limit per question (e.g. 30 seconds). If time runs out before you answer, the question is counted as wrong. Read the terms before you start.
General tips for all formats
Set up your account completely
A fully set-up profile (username, verified email, SMS verification) is required for participation. Missing verifications can mean a winner notification doesn't reach you — or that a prize expires unclaimed.
Respond to winner notifications promptly
If you've won, you'll receive an email. Respond quickly — typically within 14 days. No response means the prize is forfeited and a new draw takes place.
Fair play
Winbase is built on fairness. Multiple entries with different accounts, bot activity, or circumventing conditions results in immediate suspension. This protects all honest participants.
